LINK WISCONSIN BROADBAND DEMAND SURVEY
Schools districts in Wisconsin are participating in efforts to determine the current status of Internet broadband access and where improvements are needed. The Department of Public Instruction (DPI) and Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC-W) are partnering to promote a residential and business broadband demand survey from April through May, 2013. This is part of the larger LinkWisconsin project (http://www.link.wisconsin.gov). By encouraging parents to complete this survey we hope that we can begin to address the digital divide many of our students throughout the state face and bring the broadband needed in our schools and classrooms. Results will be used in two ways: 1) locations will be mapped to show unmet needs or demand for high speed Internet; and 2) submissions will be used to communicate need to Internet providers. Please click on the header above to take the survey.

Welcome to Ridgeway Elementary!

Ridgeway Elementary School is part of the Dodgeville School District.  We are a Pre-K through 5th grade school with about 190 students located just 7 miles east of Dodgeville.  Ridgeway Elementary School is a tremendous small school with fantastic children and an amazing staff!

We have an afternoon Early Learning Program which helps prepare children for the following year of Kindergarten.  Additionally, Ridgeway is the 5th Grade center for the Dodgeville School District.  We have four sections of 5th Grade in our special condolike unit.

The Dodgeville School District has an Early Release Wednesday each week that allows staff to work on professional development activities.  RES has also been fortunate enough to have strong community and parental support.  They have helped us to provide a variety of opportunities for our students including an annual trip to the Overture Center in Madison, a theater experience with the traveling troop, Prairie Fire Theater, Desserts with Dads, Munchies with Mom, and many more.

At Ridgeway academic excellence and 21st Century skills are an absolute priority.  However, children will only reach unparalleled levels of achievement when we first focus on connecting and caring.

Stop by and visit at anytime!
