Students, staff and members of the Dodgeville community came together Nov. 11 to pay tribute to those

who have served in the armed service. 

Seniors Maria B., Kristian H., Alayna H and Laura L, stressed the importance of Veterans Day and explained the need to reflect and remember.

Commander Terry Wilkinson, of the Dodgeville American Legion spoke about the need to remember the past. 

"If I could ask one thing of you," said Wilkinson, "grant our veterans the care and respect they deserve."

DHS choir sang "In Flander's Fields," band members played "Sweet Land of Liberty" and

Dr. Athey and others performed "Traveling Soldier," and "You've Got to Stand for Something."
