Welcome to 8th Grade Careers.  This is a nine week course that all 8th grade students take during their fall semester of school.  This class is to help students in 8th grade decide what they want to do after high school.  Students will take interest surveys to help determine what are their top three career clusters.  Students will then plan their high school years based on their career choices and career pathways.  Students will also learn how to apply for jobs at he age of 14, they will learn how to properly fill out a job application, create a resume, and prepare for a job interview.  Students will also learn about how to prepare budgets for when they live on their own.
