LINK WISCONSIN BROADBAND DEMAND SURVEY
Schools districts in Wisconsin are participating in efforts to determine the current status of Internet broadband access and where improvements are needed. The Department of Public Instruction (DPI) and Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC-W) are partnering to promote a residential and business broadband demand survey from April through May, 2013. This is part of the larger LinkWisconsin project (http://www.link.wisconsin.gov). By encouraging parents to complete this survey we hope that we can begin to address the digital divide many of our students throughout the state face and bring the broadband needed in our schools and classrooms. Results will be used in two ways: 1) locations will be mapped to show unmet needs or demand for high speed Internet; and 2) submissions will be used to communicate need to Internet providers. Summer Exploration Camp 2013

Ready, Set, Grow!

 

It's back again! The Dodgeville School District is excited to offer a great start to your 2013-2014 school year by providing a summer learning opportunity for all students going into grades Kindergarten-5th. Current 4th graders, be sure to check out the R.E.S. brochure, too!

 

Pack up your gear and join us this August 5th-23rd, Mondays through Fridays from 8:00am to 11:00am to get ready for the upcoming school year. We will:

* Explore great books and adventures in reading

* Explore technology

* Explore fun and exciting choices in art, science, games, music, drama, sports, gardening, other cultures, plus more activities that are still being planned!

 

This year's themed summer school will include:

* Opening & closing gatherings

* Opportunities to reinforce basic and extended learning concepts in reading and math

* Monday - Friday learning opportunities

* A sneak peek at the 2013-14 school year

 

You won't want to miss out on our 4th annual adventure-filled experience!
